Happy to announce I released my first music video ever into the world today! Watch it here and please like it and share it if you do! I’ve been so overwhelmed with the support so far! I posted it this morning, then went to work, and now I’m finally home and it’s had nearly 600 views in one day! I’m so humbled and happy. Plus, I gave DOLLY PARTON my CD tonight at her concert! Well, I gave it to her security guy, who very kindly actually took it back stage for me! Dolly was MIND BLOWING, btw, so all in all it’s been a pretty stellar day! Thank you, life!

Today is the day I have been waiting for, for 15 years. The first of my 2 new EPs, “Now” is available, officially. I can’t believe it has been that long since I released a real album. It is a terrifying and wonderful feeling, and I have no idea what will happen now, but I am going to work my hardest at getting this little album heard. PLEASE SHARE, and help me get my music into the hands of as many people as possible.

Thank you so much to those who made this happen: Tom, Steve, Vic, Dan— you four deserve an award for the amount of work you did, and for what you had to put up with! I love you all, forever! Today’s the day! The first half of my 2-EP collection Now/Then has hit iTunes and is available for pre-order HERE. Having never been in this position before (of releasing something online, into the world!) I can tell you it’s a CRAZY awesome feeling! And the response so far has been overwhelming! Thank you to everyone who went right over to iTunes and grabbed a copy, and also to those who shared the news on social media! This little indie record needs all the grass-roots help it can get, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Just to explain what I’ve been up to, “Now” is the first of 2-EPs of that will be released consecutively, on Aug 22 and Sept 10. A physical CD will be available sooner, if you just can’t wait– contact me and I can figure out how to get it to you.

“Now” contains 6 new songs, and represent the last year or so of songwriting and recording. It will be available on CD and digital platforms, and in the fall, on vinyl. “Then” is a follow up of 5 older, but never recorded songs, that will be released as a companion collection online and on vinyl. Together, they are a collection of 11 tunes, called “Now/Then”.

ALBUM UPDATE!

It’s almost here! I am just finishing up the last couple sessions for this long, long-awaited EP, which I have decided to call “Now” even though I told you it was going to be called “Meanwhile” (sorry). I changed the name is because I was searching for a title that described the interesting dual-state I am in, musically. As many of you know, I have been recording songs over the past many years. Quite a few songs have been in progress for nearly a decade, but never quite finished or released. Meanwhile, I have all these new songs that needed to be heard, so I took a chance and embarked on a new recording project, while continuing to finish the other batch, slowly but surely.

The result is looking like 2 EPs, released consecutively, “Now” and “Then”.

I like the idea of having a common thread run through both EPs. You get an honest representation of the path I travelled to the music I am making today. I hope they will fit together like a good story, told in past and present tense.
